Buying train tickets on SaveMyFare

SaveMyFare is a marketplace where you can buy discounted train tickets from other travellers who can no longer use them. All tickets are verified for compliance with National Rail Conditions of Travel before going live.
Yes. All tickets are verified against National Rail Conditions of Travel (NRCoT). We only allow the resale of transferable tickets — no named tickets or season tickets. Each listing is reviewed before it appears on the marketplace.
All sales are final once completed. We strongly recommend reviewing all ticket details carefully before purchasing. If a train is cancelled by the carrier, or a verified ticket is rejected at the gate due to a platform error, you may be eligible for a full refund including platform fees.
Tickets are delivered electronically via email after your purchase is confirmed. You'll receive an e-ticket to present on your mobile device or print for travel.
Contact our support team immediately at support@savemyfare.co.uk. We will investigate promptly. Where our verification process has failed on a ticket listed as unused and transferable, you may be eligible for a full refund including platform fees.
Some tickets require a valid railcard (e.g. 16-25, Senior, Network). This is clearly displayed on each listing. You must carry the required railcard when travelling.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Your payment details are encrypted and never stored on our servers.
10% of the ticket price, included in the total shown at checkout. There are no hidden fees.
